Katy has had a mindblowing year from performing all over Europe with her full live band, The GC’s, to most recently performing to a sold out Fairfield Halls in her very own hometown, Croydon, just last week.

Now only performing at a select few shows for 2011, Katy is busy in the studio finishing her material, and completing her projects for several named recording artists.

Shy FX’s official remix of Skream’s ‘Where you should be’ is currently A-Listed on Radio 1/1extra and features the multi talented Katy Shotter.

Katy is currently very busy working on her first studio album, whilst touring parts of the UK and Europe with her talented musicians, The GC’s. She will be gracing the stages in Croatia, Spain, Austria, France and London throughout 2011 whilst also supporting Jools Holland on select dates around the UK, with whom she has been lucky enough to perform with since late 2010.

Katy Shotter will be performing at the BBC Sports Personality Awards on Sunday 19th December 2010 at the LG Arena, Birmingham.

Hey Shotters!

Hope your all happy and well.

Just got home from what can only be described as an incredible day. Today we shot my first video for one of my new songs and boy, did I enjoy and take in EVERY SINGLE SECOND. The sun was shining so beautifully, and the crew were amazing – big shout out to B-RICH and the boys for your inspiring vision and direction. Also to Vic Flowers for letting us use your crib (Im movin in…dont forget, haha!)

The concept of the song is about true love, the feeling that you get when you are overwhelmed by the emotions you feel for that special person in your life. How you feel like you are resting on cloud nine, everything is completely picture perfect. I was lucky to have someone extremely special appear in my video, thankYOU.

What an experience – this is what i have been dreaming about since a little girl, and today it happened. There was no time to be shy, to be nervous. I was extremely lucky to have my CORE and heart in that room – without you guys Bluesy would not have come out…

Truly blessed. And truly friggin excited!
